Fun fact: I became an airplane pilot in 2020! I'm hoping to finish my Certified Flight Instructor license in Spring 2024.

What's your gymnastics background?: I learned to tumble and flip the way most little boys growing up in the Midwest did -- jumping off things at the playground. But after college, my first apartment was across the street from a gymnastics gym, so I took some adult classes and really dove into the details of how different skills are put together. Now I love getting to share what I've learned!

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?: A zookeeper! I have held a zoo membership in every city I've ever lived in and I really love animals.

If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?: I already have one -- flying!
